Rev. Bill Petersen
The Rev. William Petersen, Rector – A servant leader leader with an ecumenical heart, Bill was nurtured and ordained in the Lutheran tradition and has served All Saints since 2014. A former university professor and dean, Bill and his wife Kay live in Wolfeboro and enjoy the natural beauty and quality of life here in the Lakes Region. Read more about our rector here.
Rev. Liz Preysner
The Reverend Elizabeth Preysner, Priest Associate - Liz has been attending All Saints since 2014 when she first came to Wolfeboro as a teacher for the Royal Thai Scholars Program at Brewster Academy. After discerning a call to ordained ministry, Liz served as seminarian intern in 2019 and continued her ministry at All Saints each summer after her ordination. During the academic year, Liz serves as Associate Chaplain at St. Andrew’s School in Middletown, Delaware where she also teaches in the Modern Languages and Religion and Philosophy departments. Liz graduated from Yale Divinity School in 2021. At Yale, she also received a Diploma in Anglican Studies and a Diploma in Educational Leadership in Ministry. Her passions lie at the intersection of faith and education.
Liz is married to Sam Ingraham and they are pleased to call Wolfeboro home.
Deb, Ken and Shelby
Debra Hoyt, Parish Administrator – Debra brings 15 years of experience serving as a Parish Administrator. She has been in NH since 1998 and lives in Center Ossipee with her husband, Ken and puggle, Shelby. They have four adult children. Debra has enjoyed serving as a volunteer treasurer for several non-profit organizations over the last 10 years.
Mark McLaughlin
Mark McLaughlin, Sexton– Mark and his family joined All Saints in 2001. He was hired as sexton in 2006. Mark is responsible for keeping the buildings and grounds of All Saints ready to welcome all who visit and utilize our facilities. His family includes his wife, Jacqueline, and children Fred, Grant, Van and Elizabeth.
Kristina Kulish
Music Director - We welcomed Kristina Kulish as our Music Director in September 2024. Kristina lives in Barrington with her husband and daughter and teaches music at the Middle School in Farmington. A professional concert and accompanist pianist, music theory teacher and foreign language teacher, simultaneous Interpreter and translator, Kristina is fluent in English, Russian, Italian, German, Spanish and Catalan. She holds a Bachelors and two Master degrees in Piano Performance and Accompanying Pianist with Honors.
All Saints Vestry
The vestry is the legal representative of the parish with regard to all matters pertaining to its corporate property. The number of vestry members and the term of office varies from parish to parish. Vestry members are usually elected at the annual parish meeting. The presiding officer of the vestry is the rector. There are usually two wardens. The senior warden leads the parish between rectors and is a support person for the rector. The junior warden often has responsibility for church property and buildings. A treasurer and a secretary or clerk may be chosen. These officers may or may not be vestry members. The basic responsibilities of the vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation; to support the church's mission by word and deed, to select the rector, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage resources and finances.
Carol Simpson, Senior Warden - Carol and her husband Dana built their vacation/retirement home in New Hampshire in 1987. Carol spent her working career in Massachusetts as a Physical Educator and coach. They have two married daughters and four granddaughters.
Carol was an active parishioner at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church in Dover, Ma. where she served as Jr. Warden, Parish Family Coordinator, Youth Group Leader, Acolyte Program Coordinator, Lay Eucharistic Minister, and on the Altar Guild.
All Saints has been her permanent church since retiring to New Hampshire. At All Saints she is a member of the Vestry, coordinates “Dinner Bell” operations, serves as a Lay Eucharistic Minister, and has been a member of the Altar Guild. In addition to church activities, Carol is Program Coordinator of “End 68 Hours of Hunger, Wolfeboro Area Chapter”, providing weekend food to local children who experience food insecurity.
Bob Christmas, Junior Warden - Bob was raised in Acton Massachusetts where he met his wife Susan in High School. After they graduated from college, they were married, bought a house in Acton, joined Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, and Bob opened his automobile business in Maynard, MA. Over the next 45 years they raised three children, built several houses, and lived the last 30 years in Boxborough, MA. As retirement approached, they bought a boat, and finally found that Lake Winnipesaukee was their favorite place to be. They fell in love with Wolfeboro and ultimately with All Saints and now live on Mirror Lake where they plan to enjoy their retirement years.
Bill Woodard, Treasurer - Bill and his wife, Betsy, retired to Wolfeboro in 2016.They had attended St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Dedham MA. There, he served on the Vestry, as Treasurer, Eucharistic Minister and on the search committee for their current Rector.They have two daughters, Lindsey and her husband John ( MA) and Emily (ME.) Bill had a career in fundraising. He joined All Saints in 2016 and has served as a Eucharistic Minister since 2017. He is now Treasurer for All Saints.
Lyn Healy, Clerk - Lyn Healy is a cradle Episcopalian and has been active in several parishes. All Saints is her third church vestry experience in her third parish as an adult. She is a strong advocate of parish outreach. Lyn divides her time between Wolfeboro and Portsmouth. She is delighted with her family which includes five grandsons, daughter, son, and their amazing spouses. She remains an active consultant in the field of education.
Alexander Dunford - A lifelong writer, Liberty University Alumni, and devoted father of three. Alex brings a heart for service and a deep love for our Episcopal tradition. He and his family have found strength and grace in this community, and he is honored to give back through the Vestry.
Jack Ferguson - Jack Ferguson has been an active Episcopalian for much his adult life, and for all his time in New Hampshire. His New Hampshire church experience includes Vestry and junior warden roles at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Nashua and Saint James Church in Keene. Jack lives in Wolfeboro with his wife, Alyce. They have five children, living in different states across the country.
Polly Jeffers - Polly has called the Lakes Region home for twenty-seven years, and lives in Tuftonboro with her husband Dave and their dog, Arlo. Polly and Dave have considered All Saints their church home since ~2000. Polly deeply values community and has appreciated the opportunity to volunteer at the Lord and Tailor shop and for the summer fair over the years. Polly’s past vestry experience includes serving at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Stamford, CT in the 1990s.
Recently retired from fulfilling careers in elder care services and health and life insurance, Polly is dedicated to strengthening communities through making connections and believes in the importance of collaborating with others in the service of the common good. She often enjoys local walks with family and friends, baking, traveling, gardening, and spending time with her daughter in Rhode Island (the “Ocean State”!).
Joy Jones
Doug Smithwood - Doug began his experience with All Saints through his three sons’ participation in the church’s junior and senior high youth programs in the early and mid-2000s. His involvement in leadership at All Saints started when he headed a campaign to install a solar photovoltaic array on the church building in 2015-2016. He is currently the director of the Church’s “Solar Saints Initiative”, which has a mission of taking direct action to lower the carbon footprints of parishes in the NH Episcopal Church. Doug first moved to Wolfeboro to take a position as an environmental science teacher at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro and has spent the last 25 years as a fishery biologist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
Priscilla Theberge - Priscilla lives in Wolfeboro, is a retired from working at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and long-time member of All Saints’ Wolfeboro. She is a member of the Winnipesaukee Chapter, daughters of the American Revolution, having held many leadership positions, has sung with church choirs for decades, and sings soprano with the All Saints Choir.
